Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo provést teoretickou analýzu problematiky narcismu a prosociálního chování a na ni navazující empirické zkoumání jejich úrovně a vzájemného vztahu u vybraného souboru, kterým se stali lékaři a právníci. Osloveni byli náhodně vybraní odborníci z celé České republiky v různých věkových kategoriích. Lišil se také počet let absolvované praxe v oboru. Jedinou proměnnou, kterou jsme chtěli mít vyváženou, bylo pohlaví. Studium literatury a zahraničních výzkumů nám pomohlo zformulovat výzkumné cíle, které jsme následně testovali prostřednictvím internetového dotazníku. Prostřednictvím inventáře NPI jsme měřili úroveň narcismu a pomocí sebe posuzovací škály SRA jsme naměřili míru prosociálního chování. Ze stanovených výzkumných cílů se potvrdil pouze ten, který předpokládal vyšší míru narcismu u právníků. V porovnání s muži byla však naměřena vyšší míra narcismu u žen, což tuto hypotézu o vyšší míře narcismu u mužů vyvrátilo. I předpoklad o vyšší míře prosociálního chování u mužů lékařů nebyl potvrzen, protože byla míra prosociálního chování naměřena jako vyšší u žen právniček. Zbytek poznatků reflektujeme v diskuzi práce.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to perform a theoretical analysis of the issue of narcissism and prosocial behaviour and the subsequent empirical examination of their level and relationship in a selected group, which became doctors and lawyers. Randomly selected experts from all over the Czech Republic in various age categories were addressed. The number of years of completed experience in the field also differed. The only variable we wanted to have balanced was gender. The study of literature and foreign research helped us to formulate research goals, which we subsequently tested through an online questionnaire. We measured the level of narcissism through the NPI inventory and measured the degree of prosocial behavior using the SRA self-assessment scale. Of the research goals set, only the one that assumed a higher level of narcissism among lawyers was confirmed. However, higher levels of narcissism were measured in women compared to men, which refuted this hypothesis of higher levels of narcissism in men. Even the assumption of a higher rate of prosocial behavior in male physicians was not confirmed, because the rate of prosocial behavior was measured as higher in female lawyers. We reflect the rest of the knowledge in the discussion of the work.
