Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je získání obecného přehledu o možnostech úspory nákladů na výpočetní techniku, vyhodnocení zjištěných možností vzhledem k aktuální situaci výpočetní techniky a jejího využití a provozu v hotelu Imperial a výběr a navržení vhodné alternativy, případně více vhodných alternativ, pro dosažení snížení reálných nákladů na výpočetní techniku v hotelu Imperial. Pro splnění stanoveného cíle jsou v úvodu práce stanoveny konkrétní hypotézy, jejichž pravdivost je v průběhu práce postupně ověřována. První, teoretická kapitola práce je věnována teoretickému výkladu základních informací a pojmů z oblasti výpočetní techniky, stručnému vstupu do oblasti nákladů na výpočetní techniku a krátkému objasnění nutnosti snižovat tyto náklady. Ve druhé, analytické kapitole je popis hotelu Imperial, jeho organizační struktury, přehled používané výpočetní techniky a souhrn stávajících nákladů na pořízení a provoz výpočetní techniky. Ze souhrnu uvedených nákladů na výpočetní techniku vychází následné ověřování uvedených hypotéz a zpracování navrhovaných možností na jejich snížení: pronájem výpočetní techniky, leasing výpočetní techniky, virtuální server, cloud computing, optimalizace výpočetní techniky a outsourcing IT. Ve třetí, návrhové kapitole je pak shrnutí zjištěných možností úspory nákladů na výpočetní techniku, jejich zhodnocení v souvislosti s aktuálním stavem techniky a jejího provozu v hotelu Imperial a výběr vhodné alternativy pro zavedení do praxe.

Abstract:

The aim of this dissertation is to gain a general overview of the possibility how to save IT costs, evaluation of the identified options given the current situation of computer technology and its application and operation in the Hotel Imperial and the selection and design of suitable alternatives, or more suitable alternatives for achieving a reduction in the real cost computing at Imperial. For fulfilment of the goal objectives set at the beginning of the work under specific hypotheses, of which validity is during work gradually verified. The first chapter focuses on the interpretation of basic information and concepts in the field of computer technology, on brief entry in the cost of computing and on brief clarification of the necessity to reduce these costs. The second chapter is a description of the Hotel Imperial, its organizational structure, overview of the application of computer technology and a summary of the current cost of acquisition and operation of computer equipment. From all the IT costs based on subsequent verification of these hypotheses and treatment options proposed to reduce them: renting computer equipment, leasing computer equipment, virtual server, cloud computing, optimization of computing and IT outsourcing. The third chapter is a summary of the identified potential for cost savings in computing, their performance in the context of the current state of technology and its operation at Imperial and select the appropriate options for implementation.
