This master thesis approaches the smoking regulation measures in the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to find out the measure that seems to be the most efficient. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá nástrojmi regulácie fajčenia v Európskej únii. Cieľom práce je odhadnúť, ktorý nástroj regulácie fajčenia sa javí ako najúčinnejší. V práci budú analy-zované dve skupiny krajín. Do prvej skupiny patria dve krajiny, ktoré vykazujú v znižova-ní prevalencie fajčenia horšie výsledky.
