Testing environment with persistent configuration between test runs

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a method of storing test environment settings between independent test runs. The work describes the pytest tool, its functionality and the possibilities of its extension. The work analyzes in detail the popular possibilities of data persistence, their advantages and disadvantages. Based on the analysis, the optimal method with emphasis on the Python language is chosen. The work also analyzes the method of implementation of the selected persistence for the pytest interface and implements the proposed solution.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá návrhom a implementáciou spôsobu uloženia nastavenia testovacieho prostredia medzi nezávislými behmi testov. Práca popisuje nástroj pytest, jeho funkcionalitu a možnosti jeho rozšírenia. V práci sú podrobne analyzované populárne možnosti perzistencie dát, ich výhody a nevýhody. Na základe analýzy je zvolený optimálny spôsob s dôrazom na jazyk Python. Práca tiež analyzuje spôsob implementácie zvolenej perzistencie pre rozhranie pytest a implementuje navrhnuté riešenie.
