Analysis of motor skills and abilities of tennis players

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo posoudit, zda motorické schopnosti a dovednosti rozvíjené u dětí v rámci specifického tenisového tréninku rozvíjí všeobecné pohybové schopnosti a fundamentální pohybové dovednosti. Studie se zúčastnilo 14 hráčů ve věku 8-12 let. K testování byly použity 3 testové baterie TENDIAG2, MABC-2, CAMSA. Z výsledků měření bylo zjištěno, že testová baterie TENDIAG2 statisticky významně koreluje (0,552) s komponentou motorické dovednosti, statisticky významně koreluje (0,536) s komponentou rovnováhy. Také statisticky významně koreluje (0,561) s Celkovým testovým skórem (TTS). TENDIAG2 nekoreluje ke komponentě míření a chytání a k testové baterii CAMSA. Všichni jedinci podle počtů bodů v baterii TENDIAG2 spadají do kategorie nízké úrovně motorických schopností. Podle celkového testového skóru (TTS) v MABC-2 všichni jedinci spadají do kategorie Zeleného pásma, tudíž nemají žádné motorické obtíže. V testu CAMSA děti průměrně získaly 21,57 ? 3,72 bodů a nejvíce jedinci spadají do kategorie Vynikající a Pokročilý.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to assess whether the motor abilities and skills developed in children as part of specific tennis training develop general movement abilities and fundamental movement skills. 14 players aged 8-12 took part in the study. 3 test batteries TENDIAG2, MABC-2, CAMSA were used for testing. From the measurement results, it was found that the TENDIAG2 test battery is statistically significantly correlated (0.552) with the motor skill component, statistically significantly correlated (0.536) with the balance component. It is also statistically significantly correlated (0.561) with the Total Test Score (TTS). TENDIAG2 does not correlate to the aiming and catching component and the CAMSA test battery. According to the number of points in the TENDIAG2 battery, all individuals fall into the category of low level of motor skills. According to the total test score (TTS) in the MABC-2, all individuals fall into the Green Band category, so they have no motor difficulties. In the CAMSA test, children scored an average of 21.57 ? 3.72 points, and most individuals fall into the Excellent and Advanced category.
