Research of Smart Parking approaches in Czech statutory cities

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá stále více aktuálním a rozvíjejícím se tématem Chytrá města, konkrétněji jeho částí Chytré parkování. Na základě rešerše bylo zjištěno, že města ČR musí dbát na to, aby dodržela dlouhodobou strategii EU (Doprava 2050) na vytvoření plánu udržitelné dopravy ve městech, kam patří právě i Chytré parkování. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, v jakých fázích adopce Chytrého parkování a jeho vybraných oblastí se aktuálně nacházejí statutární města ČR a jaký výhled mají na 3 – 5 let do budoucna. Zároveň zjistit, jakou prioritu / důležitost města ukládají jednotlivým přínosům, limitám, omezením a hrozbám v rozhodnutí o zavedení hlavních oblastí Chytrého parkování, a jaké z vybraných oblastí jsou pro ně nejdůležitější. Jako podpůrný cíl je třeba představit téma, o kterém práce pojednává, a to do takové míry, aby čtenář získal potřebné znalosti nutné k pochopení výsledků primárního cíle. Pro dosažení cíle je nejdříve provedena rešerše a popsán teoretický základ problematiky, kde je mimo jiné provedeno rozdělení Chytrého parkování na 3 hlavní oblasti, spolu s popisem jejich vlastností. Následně díky nabytým informacím z první části práce vznikla metodika výzkumu a sběru dat, kde byly sestaveny i výzkumné otázky sloužící pro naplnění cíle. Na základě této metodiky vznikl dotazník pro statutární města ČR. Z výsledků šetření je patrné, že se města o téma zajímají a přijde jim atraktivní i do budoucna. Hlavní přínos práce shledávám ve zveřejnění výsledků průzkumu, metodiky a uceleného pohledu na problematiku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with topic, which is very actual and progressing, Smart cities, con-cretely its part Smart parking. Based on research it was found, that cities of Czech republic have to comply with long time strategy of EU (Transportation 2050) to create plan of sustain-able transportation in cities, where belongs Smart parking. The goal of this diploma thesis is to find out, in what stages of adoption of Smart parking and its chosen parts, are actually sit-uated statutory cities of Czech republic and what view do they have to 3 – 5 years to the fu-ture. At the same time to find, what priority / importance do cities give to single benefits, limits, limitations and threats in their decision of implementation of main parts of Smart park-ing, and which of chosen parts are the most important. As supportive goal is needed to intro-duce theme about which this thesis talks about, to such an extent, that reader could gain knowledge needed to understand the results of primary aim. To reach the aim of the work is mentioned research and described theoretical basis of problematics on first place, where among either things, a division of Smart parking was made into three main parts with the de-scription of their properties. Then, thanks to acquired information from first part of the the-sis, there was created methodology of research and data collection, where researching ques-tions, serving to meet the goal, were assembled. Based on this methodology, there was creat-ed survey for statutory cities of Czech republic. From results of survey, it is clear, that cities are interested in theme, and they find it out as attractive to the future, too. I find out the pub-lication of results of research, methodology and a comprehensive view of the issue as the main benefit of the thesis.
