Calculations of stability of Ta in various configurations
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje ab initio výpočtům stability tantalu v různých konfiguracích (kubické prostorově centrované, alfa a beta). Na základě relaxace struktury studovaných fází byly získány jejich rovnovážné strukturní parametry a z odpovídajících energetických minim byly vyčísleny tvorné energie vzhledem ke kubické prostorově centrované struktuře.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with ab initio calculations of the stability of tantalum in various configurations (body centered cubic, alpha and beta). The equilibrium structural parameters of studied phases were obtained on the basis of their structure relaxation and the energies of formation with respect to the body centered cubic structure were calculated from corresponding energy minima.
