Abstract:

Práce se věnuje tématu kolaborace českých novinářů s okupanty za druhé světové války. Záměrem práce bylo ozřejmit sociální a profesní východiska devíti předních kolaborantů, kteří byli v rámci poválečné retribuce odsouzeni Národním soudem. Metodou biografie práce rekonstruuje životní dráhy těchto novinářů a sleduje jejich profesní vývoj. Věnuje se zejména tezi, že novináři-kolaboranti před nacistickou okupací v tisku nezastávali významnější pozice a profilovali se z žurnalistů průměrných profesních schopností a intelektuálních kvalit. Výsledky práce však tento původní předpoklad nepotvrdily. Analytická část práce je ukotvena teoreticky i historicky. Teoretická část se soustřeďuje na koncepty profesní a životní dráhy, historický exkurz pak nastiňuje tiskové poměry druhé republiky a protektorátu a proces poválečné retribuce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the collaboration of Czech journalists with Nazi occupiers during the Second World War. The aim of the thesis was to elucidate the social and professional starting points of nine prominent collaborators, who were convicted by the National Court in the postwar retribution. The thesis reconstructs the course of their lives of these journalists and monitors their professional development using the method of biography. Primarily, it deals with the notion that journalists-collaborators did not hold important positions in the press companies before the Nazi occupation, moreover, they profiled from journalists with the average professional skills and intellectual qualities. However, this notion has not been confirmed. The analytical part of the work is grounded theoretically and historically. The theoretical part focuses on the concepts of a career path as well as life one, a historical context outlines whereas circumstances of the printed media during the Second Republic and the Protectorate and the process of postwar retribution.
