Cyber security of critical infrastructures in context of cross-border cooperation

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou kybernetické bezpečnosti u prvků kritické infrastruktury s mezinárodním přesahem. Cílem práce je navrhnout jednotící organizační rámec, který bude sloužit jako nástroj pro integraci kybernetické bezpečnosti do business strategie organizace a následně jako metoda pro vznik důvěry jako nutné podmínky spolupráce mezi organizacemi. Použitými metodami jsou metoda WDA pro zobrazení analyzované situace a následně metoda DBSC, diagram kauzálních smyček a model zralosti. Výsledkem je framework umožňující vzájemnou kompatibilitu organizací mimo jiné i díky použití externího standardu COBIT. Model splňuje nastavené požadavky a je kompatibilní s výsledky použitých dat, vzhledem k absenci nových dat je však nutná budoucí validace modelu reálnými daty a konkretizace modelu na jejich základě.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis concerns the topic of cybersecurity of critical infrastructures with international overlap. The aim of this thesis is to design a unifying organizational framework that will serve as a tool for integrating cybersecurity into the business strategy of the organization and subsequently as a method for creating trust as a necessary condition for cooperation between organizations. The methods used are the WDA method for displaying the analysed situation and then the DBSC method, the causal loop diagram and the maturity model. The result is a framework that enables organizations to be compatible with each other through the use of (among others) the external COBIT standard. The model meets the set requirements and is compatible with the results of the workshops, however, due to the absence of specific data, future validation of the model and its specification with real data is necessary for further validation.
