Synthesis of glycoluril derivatives using protecting groups
Abstract:
Glykoluril je rigidní bicyklická sloučenina, která se uplatňuje jako základní stavební blok mnoha supramolekulárních útvarů. V teoretické části této práce jsou shrnuty základní poznatky o glykolurilech a jejich využití k syntéze hostitelských molekul. Experimentální část práce se pak zabývá novým způsobem přípravy 2,4-disubstituovaných glykolurilů.
Abstract:
Glycoluril is a rigid bicyclic compound, which is used as a building block of many supramolecular structures. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes current findings of glycolurils and its application in the synthesis of guest molecules. Experimental part deals with an alternative approach to the synthesis of 2,4-disubstituted glycolurils.
