Evaluation of the CSR approach in a selected social service organisation

Abstract:

Cílem práce je na základě předchozí analýzy zhodnotit přístup organizace ke společenské odpovědnosti a navrhnout možná zlepšení či lepší využití koncepce CSR. První část je zaměřena na teoretické vymezení tohoto konceptu jeho vznik, vývoj a způsoby vyhodnocení. Druhá část je věnována představení vybrané organizaci Střediska sociálních služeb města Frýdlant nad Ostravicí a analýze CSR aktivit. Pro tuto práci byly využity metody rozhovoru a SWOT analýza. Sběr sekundárních dat, byl především z výročních zpráv a informací dostupných na internetových stránkách. Poté byla provedena SWOT analýza na základě zjištěných informací, včetně informací získaných z primárních dat pomocí rozhovorů. Závěr této práce je věnován návrhu k lepšímu využití koncepce CSR přístupu ve Středisku sociálních služeb města Frýdlant nad Ostravicí.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the organisation's approach to social responsibility and to suggest possible improvements or better use of the CSR concept. The first part is focuset on the theoretical definition of the concept, its origin, development and methods of evaluation. The second part is devoted to the presentation of the selected organisation, the Centre of Social Services of the Town of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, and the analysis of its CSR activities. The interviews methods and SWOT analysis were used for this thesis. Secondary data was collected mainly from annual reports and information available on the website. The SWOT analysis was then carried out on the basis of the information found, including information obtained from primary data through interviews. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to a proposal for better use of the CSR approach in the Social Services Centre of Frýdlant nad Ostravicí.
