Comparison of strength characteristic of polyuretane and acrylic adhesives

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou a srovnáním pevnostních charakteristik polyuretanových a akrylátových lepidel u různých typů adherendů. První část práce se věnuje problematice polyuretanových a akrylátových lepidel a to konkrétně aplikaci, vlastnostem a typům jednotlivých lepidel. V další části je věnována pozornost na teorii lepení a úpravy povrchu lepeného adherendu pro zlepšení kvality vznikajících spojů. A na závěr této části je stručně popsáno, jak se hodnotí kvalita lepených spojů dle normy ČSN EN 1465. Pro třetí část bylo vybráno celkem sedm lepidel, konkrétně čtyři polyuretanová a tři akrylátová. U těchto lepidel byly testovány mechanické vlastnosti lepených spojů, které byly vytvořeny těmito lepidly na různých typech adherendů. V neposlední řadě byly změřeny charakteristické teploty pro tyto lepidla, které byly nakonec vzájemně porovnány mezi sebou.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics and mechanical properties of polyuretane adhesives and acrylic adhesives on different types of adherends. The first part of this works is devoted to these two type sof adhesives, especially to application, properties and types. The next part is devoted to bonding theory and how to prepare the surface for beter quality of nascent joints. Finally in this part is briefly introdukce, how to judge the quality glued joints by norm ČSN EN 1465. For the third part, seven adhesives were selected, specifically four polyuretane and three acrylic. The mechanical properties of glued joints were tested using these adhesives on various types of adherends. And finally the characteristic temperatures were measured for these adhesives. These measured temperatures were then compared to make final conclusion.
