Tato práce se zabývá způsobem, jakým je magie použita v Bartimaeově Trilogii od autora Jonathana Strouda. Představuje také příběh a postavy včetně jejich krátké analýzy. Dále představuje systém magie a jeho analýzu. Práce se dále zabývá způsobem, jakým jsou postavy a příběh ovlivněny přítomností magie, a jak tento fakt autor používá k naplnění svých literárích cílů. Abstract:
This paper deals with the way in which magic is used within Jonathan Stroud´s Bartimaeus Sequence. It introduces the story and characters and features a short analysis of these. The system of magic is then presented, described and analyzed. The paper also discusses the ways in which the plot and characters are influenced by the presence of magic and how the author uses it to achieve his goals. The …more
