Determination of LIDT in the ns mode of antireflective coating materials as a function of deposition parameters

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá stanovením prahu poškození pulzním laserem v ns režimu pro antireflexní vrstvy a vztahem mezi depozičními parametry a LIDT. Stručně je popsána teorie tenkých vrstev, depozičních metod tenkých vrstev a antireflexních vrstev. Práce se dále zabývá metodami určení hodnoty LIDT - laserem indukovaný práh poškození a metodami, které se používají při vyhodnocování vzorku. Práce popisuje experimentální pracoviště, kde bylo prováděno testování vzorků a určování jejich LIDT. Dále je uveden popis experimentů a jejich výsledky LIDT pro tenké vrstvy materiálů TiO2, SiO2 a Al2O3 a pro soustavy navržených antireflexních vrstev. V neposlední řadě je zde také popsán program na automatické vyhodnocení poškození z fotografie vzorku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the determination of the pulsed laser damage threshold in ns mode for anti-reflective layers and the relationship between deposition parameters and LIDT. The theory of thin layers, thin layer deposition methods and anti-reflective coatings is briefly described. The work also deals with the methods of determining the value of LIDT - laser-induced damage threshold and the methods used to evaluate the sample. The work describes an experimental workplace where samples were tested and their LIDT was determined. Next follows a description of the experiments and their LIDT results for thin layers of TiO2, SiO2 and Al2O3 materials and for designed anti-reflection coatings. A program for automatic evaluation of damage from a photo of the sample is also described.
