Employee benefits according to the requirements of different generations and trends of their development

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem zaměstnaneckých benefitů, zejména pak rozborem poskytování těchto benefitů z pohledu jednotlivých generací a trendů v této oblasti. První část práce je zaměřena na deskripci a rozbor teoretických pojmů. Zaměření na definice, dělení, legislativu a současné trendy v oblasti zaměstnaneckých benefitů. Nelze opomenout také vliv daňových aspektů zaměstnaneckých benefitů. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na analýzu současného stavu zaměstnaneckých benefitů ve vybrané účetní jednotce. Pro lepší orientaci bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření. Výsledky byly zkoumány z pohledu generačních rozdílů respondentů. Na základě výsledků dotazníkového šetření a obecných poznatků byly navrženy rady pro nastavení optimálního portfolia zaměstnaneckých benefitů s ohledem na kritéria stanovená účetní jednotkou a preferencí zjištěných z dotazníkového šetření mezi zaměstnanci dané společnosti. Hlavním cílem práce je vyhodnocení problematiky poskytování zaměstnaneckých benefitů konkrétní společnosti, vytvoření doporučení, návrhů změn a opatření vedoucí k získání nových a udržení si stálých zaměstnanců. Data potřebná pro účely výzkumu byla získána pomocí dotazníkového šetření provedeného mezi zaměstnanci v konkrétním podniku. Ze získaných dat byl vyvozen závěr - v daném podniku nemá vliv generační rozdíl na spokojenost s poskytovaným systémem benefitů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of employee benefits, especially the analysis of the provision of these benefits from the perspective of individual generations and trends in this area. The first part of the thesis is focused on the description and analysis of theoretical concepts. Focusing on the definitions, division, legislation and current trends in the field of employee benefits. The impact of tax aspects of employee benefits cannot be overlooked. The second part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the current status of employee benefits in the selected accounting unit. For better orientation a questionnaire survey was conducted. The results were examined in terms of generational differences of the respondents. On the basis of the results of the questionnaire survey and general findings, advice for setting up an optimal portfolio of employee benefits was proposed, taking into account the criteria set by the accounting unit and the preferences identified from the questionnaire survey among the employees of the company. The main objective of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the issue of providing employee benefits of a particular company and to make recommendations and suggestions for changes and measures leading to attracting new and retaining permanent employees. The data required for the purpose of the research was obtained through a questionnaire survey conducted among the employees in a particular company. From the data obtained, the conclusion was drawn - in a given company, the generational difference does not affect the satisfaction with the benefits system provided.
