Abstract:

Zpracovatelský průmysl hraje v globální ekonomice klíčovou roli a finanční zdraví výrobních podniků je pro udržitelnost a růst tohoto odvětví zásadní. Cílem této práce je posoudit finanční zdraví podniků ve zpracovatelském průmyslu a navrhnout obecná doporučení pro podniky v tomto sektoru ekonomiky. Studie bude využívat metody finanční analýzy a to absolutní, poměrové a rozdílové ukazatele, jako další zvolená metoda byl využit Du Pontův pyramidový rozklad. Výsledky budou posuzovány komparací s doporučenými hodnotami daných ukazatelů. Dále se studie bude zabývat rozborem vývoje podniků ve zpracovatelském průmyslu v letech 2018 – 2021. Po provedení výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že podniky zpracovatelského průmyslu disponují nadměrným množstvím oběžného majetku, což můžeme ovlivnit finanční zdraví těchto podniků. Dalším zjištěním bylo, že podniky zpracovatelského průmyslu ve sledovaném období 2018 – 2021 vykazovaly v prvních dvou letech růst, který byl v roce 2020 značně ovlivněn pandemií Covid-19. V roce 2021 podniky zpracovatelského průmyslu zaznamenaly velký růst, na základě tohoto růstu můžeme říci, že zpracovatelský průmysl je silným odvětvím, které i přes pandemii Covid-19 bylo následně schopno růstu odvětví. Zjištění této studie poskytnou cenné poznatky o finančním zdraví výrobních podniků a budou podkladem pro strategie zlepšování jejich finanční výkonnosti a udržitelnosti.

Abstract:

The manufacturing industry plays a key role in the global economy and the financial health of manufacturing companies is critical to the sustainability and growth of the sector. The aim of this paper is to assess the financial health of manufacturing companies and to propose general recommendations for companies in this sector of the economy. The study will use the methods of financial analysis namely absolute, ratio and difference ratios, Du Pont's pyramid decomposition has been used as another method chosen. The results will be assessed by comparing them with the recommended values of the given indicators. Furthermore, the study will analyze the development of enterprises in the manufacturing industry from 2018 to 2021. After conducting the research, it was found that enterprises in the manufacturing industry have excessive amount of current assets, which we can affect the financial health of these enterprises. Another finding was that the manufacturing enterprises in the study period 2018 - 2021 showed growth in the first two years which was greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. In 2021, the manufacturing enterprises showed a large growth, based on this growth we can say that the manufacturing industry is a strong industry which despite the Covid-19 pandemic was able to grow the industry subsequently. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the financial health of manufacturing enterprises and will inform strategies to improve their financial performance and sustainability.
