Canadian English Linguistic Analysis with the Focus on Phonology
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá strukturou kanadské angličtiny. Zaměřuje se na fonologický systém a výslovnost specifickou pro tento dialekt v porovnání s angličtinou americkou a britskou. Mimoto zkoumá pravopisné a lexikální preference a uvádí slovní zásobu typickou pro kanadské rodilé mluvčí.
Abstract:
This work deals with the structure of Canadian English. It focuses on the phonological system and specific pronunciation of this variety in contrast with American and British English. Moreover, it explores the spelling and lexical preferences and introduces some distinct vocabulary of Canadian speakers.
