Tato práce si klade za cíl srovnat český a polský překlad anglické knihy Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. První část je teoretická, popisuje práci překladatele a druhá část se věnuje blíže kulturnímu fenoménu Harry Potter v Česku i v Polsku. Třetí část práce je zaměřená prakticky. Abstract:
This theses aims to compare the Czech and Polish translations of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child book. The first part is theoretical, it describes the work of a translator and the second part focuses closer on the cultural phenomenon of Harry Potter in the Czech Republic and in Poland.
