The personality of the perpetrator of domestic violence

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje zkoumání osobnosti pachatelů domácího násilí, přičemž je rozdělena na dvě části. V první teoretické části se práce zabývá analýzou typologií pachatelů jak z kriminologického hlediska, tak z hlediska domácího násilí podle jejich aktérů, jednotlivými druhy domácího násilí, charakteristickými znaky domácího násilí, rozdíly mezi pohlavími v páchání domácího násilí, druhy obětí a pomoci obětem domácího násilí. Důležitým druhým aspektem práce je praktická část, která se věnuje dotazníkovému šetření. Dotazník je zaměřený na obecné povědomí lidí o domácím násilí a jeho pachatelích. Cílem práce je zjistit informovanost obyvatelstva České republiky a přispět k hlubšímu pochopení tématu osobnosti pachatele domácího násilí, které může poskytnout prostor pro diskuzi o opatřeních, které mohou vést k prevenci a řešení této významné společenské problematiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the investigation of the personality of domestic violence perpetrators. It is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part, the thesis deals with the analysis of typologies of perpetrators from a criminological point of view as well as from the point of view of domestic violence classification according to its actors, types of domestic violence, characteristic features of domestic violence, gender differences in the perpetration of domestic violence, types of victims, and assistance to victims of domestic violence. The second important aspect of the paper is its practical part, which is devoted to questionnaire survey. The questionnaire is aimed at general awareness of domestic violence and its perpetrators. The aim of the thesis is to find out about the awareness of the population of the Czech Republic. Also, the work tries to contribute to a deeper understanding of the topic of perpetrators of domestic violence, which can provide space for discussion about solutions that can lead to prevention of this important social issue.
