Analysis of Accounting software in a Selected Company

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce Analýza účetního software ve vybrané společnosti je analyzovat současný software používaný účetní jednotkou a porovnat jej s nabídkou jiných programů na trhu. Práce je členěna do dvou částí - teoretická část a praktická část. Teoretická část, zpracovaná na základě literárních pramenů, je zaměřena na vznik a vývoj účetnictví a na potřeby digitalizace účetnictví. Zabývá se definicí a rozborem fungování ERP systémů a modulů používaných v účetních programech. Teoretická část také obsahuje legislativní úpravu účetnictví v České republice, kde jsou zmíněny všechny potřebné náležitosti účetních dokladů. Dále se teoretická část okrajově zabývá online účetnictvím vedeném v cloudu. Praktická část je zaměřena na konkrétní podnik a je zpracovaná na základě veřejně dostupných informací o všech zmíněných programech. Zabývá se analýzou stávajícího programu a jeho srovnáním s ostatními programy na trhu. Cílem je zjistit, zda společnost využívá ke své činnosti optimální program nebo na trhu existuje vhodnější alternativa. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty přínosy i negativa jednotlivých programů a doporučení pro zachování současného programu nebo implementaci nového programu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Analysis of accounting software in a selected company" aims to analyze the current software used by the entity and compare it with the offer of other programs on the market. The work is divided into two parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part, based on literary sources, is focused on the creation and development of accounting and the need for accounting digitization. It deals with defining and analyzing the operation of ERP systems and modules used in accounting programs. The theoretical part also contains a legislative adjustment of accounting in the Czech Republic, where all requirements of accounting documents are mentioned. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals marginally with online accounting and cloud accounting. The practical part is focused on a specific company and is processed based on publicly available information on all the programs mentioned. It deals with analyzing the current program and comparing it with other programs on the market. The aim is to determine whether the company uses an optimal accounting program for its activities or whether a more appropriate alternative exists on the market. At the end of the paper, the benefits and negatives of the individual accounting programs are summarized, and recommendations for maintaining the current program or implementing the new program are outlined.
