Abstract:

The key objective of the bachelor thesis is to reflect post-war trends and influences which affected the change and development of the British state?s cultural identity, especially in England in the 1950s and 1960s of the 20th century. The thesis provides an outline of the main historical and political events, a description of the post-war atmosphere, and analyses particular areas of life. The analysis was supported by an interview with a contemporary observer who, based on his personal experience, commented on individual decades and social events.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je reflektovat poválečné tendence a vlivy, které měly dopad na změnu a vývoj kulturní identity britské společnosti, a to především v Anglii v 50. a 60. letech 20. století. Práce poskytuje základní přehled historických a politických událostí, popis společenské atmosféry a pohled na jednotlivé oblasti lidského života. Analýza byla podpořena rozhovorem se současným pozorovatelem, který komentoval danou dobu a společenské události na základě vlastních vzpomínek.
