Abstract:

The main goal of the master's thesis is to assess the financial situation of the selected bank on the basis of financial statements and the use of appropriate economic and financial models. Thesis consists of two parts. 1) The first part is theoretical, 2) The second part is practical. The theoretical part describes and explains the main methods of financial analysis used in the analysis. The practical part contains information on the application of the described financial methods at the selected bank. As the primary information for the analysis, specific bank data for the selected analyzed period were used. The selected period is 2004-2018. The results of the analyst are the data obtained during the evaluation of the performed calculations, as well as the analysis of tables, graphs and diagrams based on these calculations. At the end of the thesis, all the results of the financial analysis are summarized, and a conclusion is made about the financial position of the bank.
