Cieľom tejto práce bolo zhrnúť doterajšie znalosti o otvorených aktívnych kontúrach využívaných najmä na segmentáciu biomedicínskeho obrazu a vytvoriť funkčnú implementáciu, ktorá rozširuje existujúcu knižnicu i3dlib.
