Lisen Theatre and its visual conception

Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje tvorbě experimentálního brněnského divadla Líšeň, a to nejen výtvarným a scénografickým aspektům jednotlivých představení, ale i související grafické a propagační tvorbě. V úvodu jsou přiblíženy jejich první divadelní kroky ve Studiu Dům Evy Tálské, které je později nasměrovaly na cestu založení vlastního divadla a vlastní produkce scénické, režisérské i herecké. Další kapitoly představily poměrně detailně jednotlivé inscenace především po stránce vizuálního stylu. Okrajově jsou zmíněny některé další nedivadelní tvůrčí aktivity. Nedílnou součástí vizuální identifikace je rovněž propagační tvorba tiskových materiálů a internetových stránek, která s příchodem výtvarnice Mariky Bumbálkové konečně také dostává poměrně ucelený a identifikovatelný rámec. Umělecké sdružení Líšeň se tak bez pochyby řadí k divadlům, která umí na scéně skloubit lidský element s elementem loutkovým tak, aby výsledný produkt byl vizuálně přitažlivý pro široké divácké publikum. Řečeno slovy Denise Bableta: „Určující kvalita prostoru loutkové inscenace se odráží ve specifičnosti režisérských praktik stejně důrazně, jako ve výtvarném rukopise scénografů. Obojí se vzájemně ovlivňuje“.

Abstract:

This work is dedicated to creating experimental theatre Lisen Brno, both in artistic aspects and scenography of each performance, and related graphic and promotional work. In the introduction are presented first steps of theatre Lisen in Eva Tálská’s Studio Dům, which had later lead the way up to their own theatre with their own stage production, direction and acting. Other chapters present a rather detailed individual performances, mainly in terms of visual style. There are also mentioned some other non-theatrical creative activities. A significant part of visual identification is also creating printed promotional materials and websites, which with the arrival of artist Marika Bumbálková finally gets an almost complete and unique framework. Art Association Lisen is without doubt one of the stages, which can combine the human and puppet element so that the resulting product is visually appealing to a wide viewing audience. In the words of Denis Bablet: „The defining quality of puppet production is reflected by specific practices of the director as strongly as the visual manuscript of the stage designer. Both of it affects each other.“
