Comparision of reading skills of gymnasium students (studying first year of the four-year cycle and fifth year of multiannual cycle)

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výzkumem čtenářství studentů prvních ročníků na gymnáziu Josefa Jungmanna v Litoměřicích. Zaměřuje se především na komparaci gymnazistů studujících 1. ročník čtyřletého cyklu a gymnazistů, kteří studují 5. ročník osmiletého cyklu. Teoretická část obsahuje definice důležitých pojmů z oblasti čtenářství a zabývá se také adolescentním čtenářem. V praktické části jsou představeny výsledky šetření provedené dotazníkovou metodou. Cílem práce je prozkoumat vztah studentů ke čtení a literární výchově a zda se jejich odpovědi liší na základě toho, jestli jsou studenty osmiletého, či čtyřletého gymnázia.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the research of reading among students of the first year of gymnasium at the Gymnasium of Josef Jungmann in Litoměřice. The work focuses mainly on comparision of students studying first year of the four-year cycle and students visiting fifth year of multiannual cycle. The theoretical part defines the basic terminology in the field of reading and also focuses on the adolescent reader. The practical part presents the findings of the questionnaire research. The goal of this works is to analyse the attitude of students towards reading and literary lessons and find the differences between students of four-year cycle and multiannual cycle.
