Evaluation of clients creditworthiness for credit transactions

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je „Hodnocení úvěrové bonity klienta“. V úvodní části práce se věnuji historii úvěrových obchodů, jejich charakteristice a co je jejich podstatou. Poté jsem se zaměřil na druhy úvěrových obchodů, na jejich členění a jednotlivé typy jsem blíže popsal. Hlavní část práce je zaměřena na úvěrový proces v bance, který předchází poskytnutí úvěru žadateli a v jehož průběhu se hodnotí jeho úvěrová bonita. Přiblížím také metody, pomocí nichž probíhá analýza důvěryhodnosti klienta – jedná se o kreditní skóring a rating. Poslední část práce je věnována úvěrovému procesu v bankovní praxi, kde se pokusím porovnat, jak probíhá hodnocení bonity zvoleného retailového klienta ve dvou vybraných bankách.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of client’s creditworthiness for credit transactions. The first part of the thesis is devoted to history, fundamentals and characteristics of credit transactions. Another part of the thesis focuses on different types of credit transactions and their division. The main part concentrates on bank credit transaction, which is accomplished before the credit is given to client and during which an analysis of the client is done. Methods such as credit scoring and rating, which are used in this process, are described. The final part of the thesis applies such gained knowledge to the bank praxis and compares the process of evaluation of creditworthiness of a selected client in two different banks.
