Oxidative Stress and its Influence on the Development of Cancer
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá oxidačním stresem a jeho vznikem, vybranými reaktivními formami kyslíku a dusíku a antioxidanty. Stěžejní část se věnuje souvislostem mezi oxidačním stresem a nádorovým onemocněním. Popisuje poškození biomolekul a ovlivnění signálních drah zapojených do procesu karcinogeneze.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with oxidative stress, its formation, reactive oxygen and nitrogen species, and antioxidants. The main part is dedicated to the context between oxidative stress and cancer. It describes oxidative damage of biomolecules and the influence on signal pathways involved in the process of carcinogenesis.
