This thesis deals with working hours, particularly as it is regulated by the Act No. 262/2006 Coll., Labour Code, as amended. There are also mentioned regulations of European Union (especially directive 2003/88/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 November 2003 concerning certain aspects of the organisation of working time) and Conventions of International Labour Organisation.
