Teoretická rovina práce popisuje anatomii štítné žlázy, onemocnění, diagnostiku, léčbu, komplikace, předoperační a pooperační péči o pacienty po odstranění štítné žlázy. Dále je v teoretické části popsaná psychologie nemocného, edukace a informační mapa péče. Theoretical level work describes the anatomy of thyroid disease diagnosis, treatment, community-complications and preoperative and postoperative care of patients after removal of the thyroid gland.
