The aim of the diploma thesis is a genre analysis of the English versionsof five chosen airports' websites. The thesis consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines traditional genre and web genres and also introduces methodology through which the analysis was performed. Cílem této diplomové práce je žánrová analýza anglických verzí webových stránek pěti vybraných letišť. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí, teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část definuje tradiční žánr a webové žánry a také uvádí použitou metodologii, pomocí níž byla provedena žánrová analýza.
