Comparison of Serial and Parallel Gaussian Elimination in a Distributed Memory
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou paralelního programování a možností jeho uplatnění při řešení soustav lineárních algebraických rovnic. V praktické části práce je implementována vybraná metoda paralelizace Gaussovy eliminační metody a je provedeno srovnání s metodou sériovou.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on parallel computing and their importance for the solving of system of linear algebraic equations. The practical part presents an implementation of a chosen method of parallelization of the Gaussian elimination method and its comparison with a serial method of implementation.
