Evaluation of selected physical characteristics and lifestyle, in pupils of the 2nd grade of elementary school in the Ústí nad Labem region, before and after the situation caused by Covid - 19.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá hodnocením vybraných tělesných charakteristik a životního stylu, u žáků 2. stupně ZŠ v Ústeckém kraji, před a po situaci způsobenou Covid - 19. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou staršího školního věku, psychickým, kognitivními a motorickým vývojem, dále pak životním stylem dětí a mládeže, rizikovým chováním, tělesnou výchovou ve starším školním věku a jejími problémy, vlivem pohybových aktivit na zdraví člověka, obezitou, jejími následky a prevencí, pohybovou aktivitou a inaktivitou. Ve výzkumné části siklademe za cíl zhodnotit vybrané aspekty životního stylu žáků 2. stupně v Ústeckém kraji. K realizaci výsledků byl použit dotazník pro školní mládež (Vignerová a Bláha, 2001) a byli do něj zapojeni žáci 6 - 9 tříd druhého stupně, pěti předem určených základních škol. Dotazník obsahuje celkem 15 uzavřených otázek v 5 okruzích. Výsledky nám umožní získat údaje o životním stylu ve vztahu k věku, pohlaví, rodině a BMI. Následná zjištění nám umožní srovnání s daty vycházející z výzkumu z roku 2019/20, který proběhl před nastalou situací ovlivněnou opatřeními proti covid-19.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to evaluate selected bodily characteristics and lifestyle in pupils of the middle school in the district of Usti nad Labem, before and after the COVID-19situation. In the theoretical part, the later school age is characterized - in terms of psychological development as well as the level of cognitive and motor capabilities. This part also addresses the lifestyle of children and youths, risky behaviors, physical education in the later school age and its specific issues, the influence of physical activity on human health, obesity, its consequences and prevention, physical activity and inactivity. The goal of the research part is to evaluate selected aspects of lifestyle of middle-school pupils in the district of Ústí nad Labem. A questionnaire was used (see Vignerová and Bláha, 2001) to collect the data from pupils of the 7th to 9th grade of the middle school, at five particular schools that had been chosen in advance. The questionnaire consists of 15 closed-ended questions arranged in 5 blocks. The results can reveal relationships between the lifestyle and age, gender, family and the BMI. The outcomes can readily be compared to a previous research done in 2019/20, which took place before the abnormal COVID 19 situation and the related anti-pandemic countermeasures.
