Analysis of the landscape strategy in the Urban plan of the city Ostrava

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou funkcí městské zeleně a její ochranou v Koncepci uspořádání krajiny v Územním plánu města Ostravy. Práce je rozdělena na část, kde jsou popisovány ekosystémové služby a funkce zeleně ve městě, jejich ochranné podmínky dle platné legislativy a strategických dokumentů a na část, ve které je Koncepce analyzována, jsou zjištěny její nedostatky a reálné naplnění v praxi. Dále je odkázáno na nedostatečné využití území a následně navržena vylepšení.

Abstract:

This thesis is concerned with functions of urban greenery and its protection in the Landscape strategy in the Urban plan of the Ostrava city. The thesis is divided in two parts. In the first part there are described the ecosystem services, the functions of greenery in urban areas and their protective conditions according to valid legislative and strategies. In the second one, there is analyzed the Landscape strategy and are detected its shortages. It is also found out the real replenishment of the Landscape strategy in the case study. In the end I show the lack of use of the interested area and I propose the improvements.
