Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje tři díla z anglického dramatu, přesněji z renesanční tragédie pomsty z alžbětinského období. Pro pochopení tragédie pomsty a jejího původu začne tato práce s vysvětlením žánru, společně s vysvětlením její historie a důvodem její popularity. The aim of this thesis is to analyse three pieces of British drama, namely the revenge tragedies of the Renaissance era. To understand what a revenge tragedy is and where it came from, this thesis will start with an explanation of the genre together with its history and its popularity.
