Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Sport zdravotně postižených“ bylo zjistit jaký význam a přínos má sportovní aktivita pro osoby se zdravotním postižením. Protože existuje několik typů postižení a v rámci této diplomové práce by nebylo možné se zabývat všemi, zaměřila jsem svůj výzkum pouze na tělesně postižené. Práce má teoreticko – empirický charakter. Teoretická část má tři kapitoly. První kapitola se zaměřuje na charakteristiku zdravotního postižení. V druhé kapitole je popsáno tělesné postižení a poslední kapitola teoretické části se věnuje samotné problematice sportu zdravotně postižených. Empirická část se zaobírá výzkumem. Nejdříve vymezuje cíle, metodologii výzkumu a charakteristiku zkoumaného vzorku. Na základě zvolených cílů byl použit kvalitativní přístup a informace byly zpracovány pomocí případových studií. V závěru je celý výzkum analyzován a uzavřen shrnutím.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis "Sport activities of disabled people" was to determine the importance and benefits of sport activities for people with disabilities. Since there are several types of disabilities and it would not be possible to cover all of them, this thesis focuses only on physical disabilities. The diploma thesis has got two parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. The first chapter defines the issue of disabilities. The second chapter describes the physical disability and the last chapter of theoretical part deals with the issue of sport activities for disabled people. The empirical part focuses on the research. First, it defines its objectives and goals. Then the research methodology is described and people on which the research was conducted are characterized. Qualitative approach was used. The information was processed by using the case studies. In conclusion, the research is analyzed and the whole thesis is closed by summary.
