Folk Dances in Moravian Wallachia and their Use in Lessons at the Primary Art Schools

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce Lidové tance na Valašsku a jejich využití ve výuce na základní umělecké škole se zabývá valašskými lidovými tanci, které následně využívá při vytváření lekcí pro taneční obor na základní umělecké škole. Práce klade důraz na nezbytnost uchovávání a rozvíjení kulturního bohatství, což by právě na Valašsku nemělo být opomíjeno. Jsou zde využívány vybrané tance a taneční hry z oblasti Valašska, které jsou aplikovány ve vyučovacích hodinách tanečního oboru. Cílem práce je vybrané tance představit a následně vytvořit modelové hodiny, které budou zahrnovat základní taneční průpravu a především tance, jejichž úroveň je adekvátní schopnostem a dovednostem žáků druhého ročníku prvního stupně základní umělecké školy.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis Folk dance in Wallachia and its use in teaching in elementary art schools is focused on folk dances that are typical for the area of Wallachia, which lies in the east of the Czech Republic. In the course of the thesis, these dances are used as a source for creating lessons for the study of dance in elementary art schools. The work stresses the importance of preserving and developing of cultural wealth that should not be neglected especially in the Wallachia region. Particular Wallachian dances and dancing games are selected and then utilized in dance teaching lessons. The aim of the thesis is to introduce these selected dances and create model lessons that include basic dancing training and primarily dances whose level of difficulty is adequate to the capabilities and skills of the pupils in the second grade of elementary art schools.
