Abstract:

Práce analyzuje politiku centrálních bank, která je reakcí na klimatickou změnu. Tato politika je běžně označována jako zelená monetární politika. V úvodu je stručně prezentována historie vývoje vztahu centrálního bankovnictvím a klimatické změny. Dále jsou diskutována východiska práce, charakteristiky klimatické změny a její vliv na ekonomiku a indikátory, jako jsou nejistota a risk. Hlavní část prezentuje konkrétní politiky a diskutuje jejich možnosti a limity. Ke konci práce analyzuje důsledky zelené monetární politiky pro hospodářskou politiku a různé aktéry v ekonomice.

Abstract:

The thesis analyses the central banks’ policy, which react to climate change. This policy is generally referred to as a green monetary policy. In the introduction evolution of the relationship between central banking and climate change is briefly discussed. It is followed by a methodological background, selected characteristics of climate change and its impacts on economics and indicators, such as uncertainty and risk. The main part of the thesis deals with particular policies, their options, and limits. The impacts of green monetary policy on economic policy and various actors are discussed at the end of the work.
