Cooperative learning possibilities in Math lessons at primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o metodě kooperativního vyučování, podpůrných metodách a samotné realizaci kooperativního vyučování v hodinách matematiky na 1. stupni ZŠ. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmem kooperativní výuka, jejími výhodami, nevýhodami, rozdílnými přístupy, motivací, klíčovými kompetencemi a také tím, jak kooperativní výuku podpořit. Praktická část obsahuje vlastní realizaci kooperativní výuky v praxi a dotazníkové šetření. Praxe je zaměřená na jednotlivé metody kooperativní výuky v hodinách matematiky ve všech ročnících 1. stupně základní školy. V těchto hodinách jsou pozorovány, analyzovány a hodnoceny jednotlivé složky kooperativní výuky. Praktická část obsahuje také výsledky dotazníkového šetření učitelů 1. stupně dalších základních škol, ve kterém zjišťujeme zapojení metody kooperativního učení v hodinách matematiky, časovou náročnost příprav a také efektivitu kooperativní výuky. Hlavním cílem praktického výzkumu je zjistit efektivitu kooperativní výuky, posílit schopnost kooperace u mladších žáků, rozvíjení klíčových kompetencí a také možnosti podpory kooperativní výuky.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis discusses the method of cooperative learning, supporting methods and the actual implementation of cooperative strategies in mathematics classes at primary education. The theoretical part deals with the term itself, advantages and disadvantages of cooperative learning, different approaches, motivation, key competences and also supporting methods. The practical part includes the implementation of cooperative learning strategies in practice and a questionnaire for primary teachers and their involvement of cooperative learning. In these classes, individual components of cooperative learning are observed, analyzed and evaluated. The practical part also contains the results of a questionnaire of primary school teachers, in which we find out the involvement of the cooperative learning strategies in mathematics, the time requirement of the lesson preparation and also the effectiveness of cooperative learning. The main goal of the practical research is to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning, to strengthen the ability of cooperation among younger students, the development of key competences and also the possibilities of supporting cooperative learning.
