The first direct presidential elections in the Czech Republic- case study

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je První přímá volba prezidenta- případová studie. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je definován politický režimem České republiky, systémové ústavní zařazení prezidenta, nepřímou volbou prezidenta, přímou volbou prezidenta, průzkumy veřejného mínění ohledně zavedení přímé volby prezidenta, politický marketing, volební kampaně, teorie strategie volební kampaně a teoretická část je ukončena kapitolou pojednávající o negativní kampani. Ve druhé části práce je analyzována příčina nepostoupení kandidáta J. Fischera do druhého kola vzhledem ke kandidátům, kteří postoupili, tj. M. Zeman a K. Schwarzenberg. V práci jsou použity empiricko- analytické a komparativní metody.

Abstract:

The theme of the diploma thesis is The first direct election of the president-case study. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part namely specifies definition of political regimes in the Czech Republic, the constitutional system including the president, the indirect election of the president, direct election of the president, the polls regarding the introduction of direct presidential elections, political marketing, campaign, campaign strategy theory and it is finished by definition of nagative campaigns. The pratical part is focused on the silure of candidate J. Fischer in the second round due to candidates who qualify, M. Zeman and K. Schwarzenberg. At the diploma thesis are used the empirical-analytical and comparative methods.
