Abstract:

REVISION OF TAXONOMIC POSITION OF THE MODEL SPECIES GROUPS IN THE FAMILY TACHINIDAE (DIPTERA), reconstruction of their phylogeny on the basis of the morfological characters and molecular-genetic methods Determination of the species of the family Tachinidae (Diptera) is currently persisting problem solved. In West Palaearktic area is known 12 species of the genus Tachina and other taxonomic levels are constantly questioned. This problem is analyzed by three different paralell methods in these study – artificial neural networks (ANN), molecular analysis of DNA markers – 12S, 16S rDNA, CO I and CYT B of that species and by methods of comparative morphology (study of male postabdomen). All three approaches solve the taxonomic problems with the same results in the following five cases: Case 1) four currently recognized subgenera of the genus Tachina were confirmed and the description of a new subgenus was recommended; Case 2) the validity of the new boreo-alpine species (sp.n.) was confirmed; Case 3) before expected occurrence of T. casta (Rondani, 1859) in Central Europe was not confirmed; The Case 4) the individuals of West Palaearctic T. nupta (RONDANI 1859) were confronted with East Palaearctic samples from Japan, expecting a valid species, which is not identical with the Central European specimens, in the case of T. nupta needs further detailed study; Case 5) T. nigrohirta (Stein, 1924), the categorization of hitherto considered as synonymous with T. ursina (Meigen, 1824), was confirmed as a valid species. This simultaneous use of three alternative methods would enable the principle of „polyphase taxonomy”, which has been tested and certified by independent results. The valuables of two non-mathematical methods (molecular and morphological) were well-founded through using of ANN methodology for the first time.

REVÍZIA TAXONOMICKÉHO POSTAVENIA MODELOVÝCH SKUPÍN DRUHOV ČEĽADE TACHINIDAE (DIPTERA), rekonštrukcia ich fylogenézy pomocou analýzy morfologických znakov a molekulárno-genetických metód Determinácia druhov čeľade Tachinidae (Diptera) je v súčasnej dobe trvale riešeným problémom. V západopalaearktickej oblasti je doteraz známych 12 druhov rodu Tachina a ďalšie taxonomické úrovne sú neustále spochybňované. Tento problém je v práci paralelne analyzovaný tromi rozdielnymi metódami – umelými neurónovými sieťami (ANN), analýzou molekulárnych DNA markerov – 12S, 16S rDNA, CO I a CYT B uvedených druhov a metódami porovnávacej morfológie (štúdium samčieho postabdomenu). Všetky tri prístupy riešia taxonomické problémy s rovnakými výsledkami v nasledujúcich piatich prípadoch: Kauza 1) štyri v súčasnosti uznávané podrody rodu Tachina boli potvrdené a opis nového podrodu bol odporučený; Kauza 2) platnosť nových boreo-alpínnych druhov (sp.n.) sa potvrdila; Kauza 3) skôr predpokladaný výskyt druhu T. casta (Rondani, 1859) v strednej Európe nebol potvrdený; Kauza 4) západopalaearktické jedince T. nupta (Rondani, 1859) boli kontrastované s východopalaearktickými vzorkami z Japonska, predpokladajúcimi platný druh, ktorý nie je identický so stredoeurópskymi exemplármi; v prípade T. nupta je potrebné ďalšie podrobné štúdium; Kauza 5) T. nigrohirta (Stein, 1924), v doterajšej kategorizácii považovaná za synonymum T. ursiny (Meigen, 1824), bola potvrdená ako platný druh. Toto súbežné použitie troch alternatívnych metód umožnil princíp „polyfázovej taxonómie“, ktorý bol testovaný a overený pomocou samostatných výsledkov. Prvýkrát boli využitím metódy ANN v taxonómii odôvodnené hodnoty dvoch nematematických metód (molekulárnej a morfologickej).
