Long-term investment strategies applied in the new pension system of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analyzovat změny v důchodovém systému ČR, které byly schváleny a následně nabyly účinnosti od roku 2011. Dále pak aplikovat dlouhodobé investiční strategie v důchodovém systému v horizontu 10, 15 a 20 let a tyto následně porovnat s možnostmi alternativních nástrojů trhu a vybrat tu nejlepší. Nejprve jsou v práci stručně popsány změny v důchodovém systému v ČR. Jedná se o nový způsob stanovení výpočtového základu a zvyšování důchodového věku. Nebo-li, jak je spíše všeobecně známo, malou a velkou důchodovou reformu. Dále jsou v práci aplikovány investiční strategie v možnostech důchodového systému v horizontu 10, 15 a 20 let a ty jsou následně metodou komparace porovnány s alternativními nástroji na finančním trhu, které mohou jedinci v průběhu dlouhodobého investování zajistit dostatečné finanční prostředky na klidné zajištění v důchodovém věku. V závěru práce je shrnutí výsledků, kdy ze zjištěných skutečností vyplývá, zda-li je vhodné vstoupit do druhého důchodového pilíře, nebo zůstat v průběžném důchodovém systému (první pilíř) a volné finanční prostředky investovat v doplňkovém penzijním spoření (třetí pilíř) a nebo využít alternativy finančního trhu pro důstojné zajištění do důchodového věku.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to analyse the changes in the retirement system in the Czech republic, which were passed and subsequently came into force in 2011. Another aim is to use long-term invest strategies in the retirement system in the horizon of 10, 15 and 20 years and then compare it with the possibilities of alternative tools at the market and to choose the best one. At the first part I briefly describe the changes in the retirement system in the Czech republic, specifacally the new way of calculating base statement and increasing of retirement age. Or, as it is generally known, small and big retirement reform. Furthemore there are some investment strategies aplicated in the possibilities of the retirement system in the horizon of 10, 15 and 20 years which are subsequently compared by the comparison method with the alternative tools at the financial market. These tools can, within the running of long-term investment, guarantee enough finance to ensure easy life in retirement age. At the end of this work there is a result summary where we can, out of the founded results, see if it is convenient to enter the second retirement pillar or to stay in the current retirement system (the first pillar) and invest the spare finance in additional pension saving (the third pillar) or to use alternatives of financial market for worthy ensuring of the retirement age.
