Anotácia:

The goal of this thesis is to outline the phenomenon of the price discrimination and different pricing strategies. The first, theoretical part clearly defines the term of price discrimination and explains the motivation of producers to take advantage of such practices. It also differentiates between price discrimination and other pricing strategies. The empirical part describes three basic types of price discrimination and highlights their differences on the practical cases. Final part is devoted to the jurisdiction and regulation of price discrimination on the leading markets.
