Education of the persons with social handicap.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zpracována na téma „Vzdělávání osob se sociálním znevýhodněním“. Cílem práce je analýza procesu vzdělávání v prostředí výkonu trestu odnětí svobody žen ve Věznici Světlá nad Sázavou. Teoretická část obsahuje popis základních pojmů týkajících se výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, stručnou historii vývoje trestů a trestání. Dále pak obsahuje seznámení s historií vzdělávání v prostředí výkonu trestu, seznámení s Věznicí Světlá nad Sázavou a charakteristiku Školského a vzdělávacího střediska ve Světlé nad Sázavou. Praktická část práce obsahuje charakteristiku kvantitativního výzkumu provedeného mezi odsouzenými ženami, které se zúčastňují některého ze vzdělávacích programů Školského a vzdělávacího střediska. V závěrečné části práce jsou uvedeny výsledky výzkumu obsahující ověření navržených hypotéz, diskusi nad zjištěnými výsledky výzkumu a závěrečné shrnutí.

Abstract:

The subject of the dissertation is „Education of the persons with social handicap“. The aim of the dissertation is analysis of the process of education in the background of the executing of the sentence of imprisonment of women in Prison Světlá nad Sázavou. The theoretic part consists of the description of basic concepts concerning executing of the sentence of imprisonment, short history of the development of sentences and sentencing. It consists further of history of education in the background of the executing of the sentence, information about Prison Světlá nad Sázavou and characterization of School and educational centre in Světlá nad Sázavou. The practical part of the dissertation consists of characterization of the quantitative research carried out among sentenced women who take part in one of educational programs of the School and educational centre. In the final part of the dissertation, there are results of the research containing verification of the hypotheses, discussion of found results of the research and final résumé.
