Construction of the TURBO-JET 2000 Branchpipe control Handle

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na využití moderních technologií používaných při návr-hu, vývoji a konstrukci výrobků. V teoretické části je popsáno všeobecné využití CAD technologií, následuje stručné se-známení s konstrukčním softwarem CATIA V5 a jeho modulem pro tvorbu dutin formy, dále pak softwarem Autodesk Moldflow a teoretickými základy konstrukce vstřikovacích forem. Na závěr teoretické části je stručně popsána teorie technologií Rapid Prototyping. V praktické části je vysvětleno, proč je nová konstrukce ovládacího madla prováděna, dále je detailně popsáno 3D skenování proudnice a následná úprava dat. Hlavní část práce pak je tvořena podrobným popisem nového návrhu konstrukce madla s uvedením dalších variant. Následuje popis vyhodnocených tokových analýz a konstrukce dutin formy pro navržené madlo. Výsledkem práce je model vyrobený technologií Rapid Prototyping.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis concentrated on the utilisation of modern technologies used for design, development and construction of the products. The theoretical part describes the general utilisation of CAD technologies followed by a brief introduction of CATIA V5 being the construction software as well as its modules creating the mold cavities. Next, there are descriptions of Autodesk Moldflow software as well as the theoretical knowledge of the construction of injection mold. At the end of this part the theory of Rapid Prototyping technology is shortly described. The practical part explains why the new construction of the control Handle is performed. There is detailed description of the 3D scanning of the Branchpipe followed by the adjust-ment of the data obtained. The main part of this thesis concentrates on in-depth description of the new construction of the control Handle with its further possible modifications. There are also the description and evaluation of the flow analyses as well as the construc-tion of the mold cavities for the control Handle suggested. The thesis results in a manufac-turing of a new model by Rapid Prototyping technology.
