Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá bankovým systémom na Slovensku. Opisuje bankový systém, postavenie a význam bánk u nás. Prvá kapitola charakterizuje bankovú sústavu, jej vývoj a funkcie pred a po roku 1989. Objasňuje pojmy ako centrálna banka, komerčné banky, bankový sektor.
