Occupational therapy intervention in pediatric client with Rethore syndrom

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je přispět k řešení problematiky ergoterapie u dětského klienta s Rethore syndromem a seznámení široké veřejnosti s touto diagnózou. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na kapitoly týkající se informací o Rethore syndromu a ergoterapie v pediatrii. Praktická část obsahuje práci s dětskou klientkou s diagnózou Rethore syndromu. Nejdříve je zpracována anamnéza, dále je na základě vstupního ergoterapeutického vyšetření za pomoci MABC-2 a vlastního ergoterapeutického hodnocení, stanoven krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán a jeho cíle. Součástí je také popis jednotlivých ergoterapeutických intervencí. Po výstupním ergoterapeutickém vyšetření byl stanoven dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to contribute to solving the problem of occupational therapy in a child client with Rethore syndrome and to introduce this diagnosis to the general public. The theoretical part focuses on the chapters about Rethore syndrome and occupational therapy in paediatrics. The practical part includes working with a pediatric client diagnosed with Rethore Syndrome. First, a medical history is taken, then a short-term occupational therapy plan and goals are established based on the initial occupational therapy assessment using the MABC-2 and the occupational therapy evaluation. A description of the individual occupational therapy interventions is also included. Following the exit occupational therapy assessment, a long-term occupational therapy plan was determined.
