The Armed Conflict in Iraq: International Argumentation
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá legalitou operace Irácká svoboda, která v roce 2003 svrhla režim Saddáma Husajna. Text představuje argumentační linii, která považuje zásah v Iráku za legální v rámci mezinárodního práva, a to skrze účinek rezolucí Rady Bezpečnosti OSN. Jde především o rezoluce RB 678, 687 a 1441.
Abstract:
In my final thesis I focus on legality of the Operation Iraqi Freedom which overthrew the government of Saddam Hussein in 2003. The basic assumption of this text is that the Operation Iraqi Freedom was legal under the effect of resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council.
