The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess foreign exchange interventions of the Czech National Bank from 2013 to 2017. In the theoretical part of the thesis the position of this institution in the legal order is specified and the instruments of monetary policy and transmission mechanisms are discussed (with emphasis on inflation targeting).
