Comparison of results of didactic tests of pupils of the fifth grade according to sex and proclaimed curriculum at primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá komparací výsledků didaktických testů žáků podle pohlaví a proklamovaného kurikula. Výzkumného šetření se účastnili žáci pátých tříd, vyučovaní různými preferovanými strategiemi řízené učební činnosti. Do výzkumu byly zahrnuty jak školy běžného typu, tak i školy s alternativním způsobem výuky matematiky. Jako alternativní přístupy v práci uvádíme: Hejného metodu, Montessori přístup a Daltonský plán. U žáků byla posuzována úspěšnost v didaktickém testu z matematiky nejen z hlediska preferované strategie řízení učební činnosti, ale také z hlediska pohlaví. Při porovnání dvou souborů byl aplikován nepárový t-test, a při práci s více soubory byla použita analýza rozptylu (ANOVA). V závěrečné části jsou na základě induktivní analýzy objasněny stanovené hypotézy, kdy se v některých případech prokázaly signifikantní rozdíly. V závěru práce byla dále navržena doporučení pro další šetření.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the comparison of the results of didactic tests of pupils according to gender and the proclaimed curriculum. Fifth graders with different preferred learning management strategies participated in the research. Thus, both mainstream schools and schools with an alternative way of teaching mathematics were included in the research. Alternative approaches in the work include: Hejného method, Montessori approach and Dalton plan. Pupils were assessed for success in the didactic test in mathematics not only in terms of the preferred strategy for managing learning activities, but also in terms of gender. When comparing two files, it was an unpaired t-test, when working with multiple files, analysis of variance (ANOVA). In the final part, based on inductive analysis, the established hypotheses are clarified, when in some cases significant differences were demonstrated. At the end of the work, recommendations for further investigation were proposed.
