Comparison of the Works of the Čapek brothers: Země mnoha jmen and Továrna na absolutno

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá komparací utopických děl bratří Čapků, konkrétně dramatu Země mnoha jmen od Josefa Čapka a románu složeného z fejetonů Továrna na Absolutno od Karla Čapka. Úvodní část práce se věnuje výchozí sekundární literatuře a poznatkům badatelů, kteří se zvolenou tematikou zabývali. V jádru práce provedu své vlastní analýzy děl, se zaměřením na fabuli, sémantickou analýzu, jazyk, vypravěče, kompozici a postavy. Závěrečná část práce se bude zabývat srovnáním zvolených děl, nalezením podobností nebo rozdílností, a zároveň také porovnáním s postřehy vybraných badatelů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the comparisons of utopian works of Capek's brothers, concretely a drama Země mnoha jmen by Josef Capek and a novel compounded of the short essays Tovarna na Absolutno by Karel Capek. The introductory part of my work is devoted to the initial secondary literature and the researchers findings who dealt with the elected themes. In the core of my work I will make my own analyses of the works with the target on the fabula, semantic analysis, lingua, a storyteller, a composition and characters. The final part of my work will be dealt with the comparison of the chosen works, with the finding of analog or dissimilarity and also with the comparison of the spots of the elected researchers.
